Artificial Intelligence in Academia: Best Practices for Armenian State University of Economics

This article examines how the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) can respond to the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education. Based on content and comparative analysis of global university guidelines, along with a faculty survey at ASUE, it identifies gaps in existing policies and highlights ethical dilemmas of AI use. The study proposes a framework for responsible integration of AI into academic life. Findings highlight the need for clear institutional rules, transparency, and AI literacy training to uphold academic integrity while fostering innovation and trust in education.
